Well have not been a great fan of diets, but a couple of them do really work. Have tried one and the other seems to be the new fad. The former is the GM aka General motors diet and the second one is the Morning Banana Diet. Apparently the latter has swept Japan and bananas are at their costliest! U can read abt them at http://www.dolenutrition.com/bananadiet/bananadiet.htm (Banana diet) and http://msync.org/health/GeneralMotorsDiet.html (GM diet) I have tried out the latter with surprisingly positive results and am in the midst of it a second time. After it ends, will have a go at the other one. Go bananas!

Hi.
Can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean by 'positive results' as far as the GM diet is concerned? I am looking to collect more information from people who have tried it out.
Thanks!
Ravindra
Hi Ravindra,
See this, this will give an answer.

thanx for posting
Hi Pradeep,
I was specifically interested in knowing your *personal* experiences with respect to this diet. I've done this myself, and have been looking to collect information from people.
Incidentally, the site you mention in your posting - msync.org - belongs to me.
Best wishes,
Ravindra
Ah! talk of coincidences!
That is interesting! Very interesting!
As far as my experience goes, i have had one full diet and three half diets, meaning for 3 and 4 days! The max benefit was got only when i did the full diet. Obviously i felt lighter and felt "easy"! U can see the change in u. I know of a close friend of mine who I have seen, losing a lot of weight and being quite fitter.
I did not get ANY benefit during the half diets. None at all.
Cool! That's very useful information.
If you could put up some more details (either in this posting, or another independent one) - I can link to it from my site - I am planning to collect some experiences to point to as part of this study.
If you can also contribute to the poll at http://msync.org/health/polls/gmdiet - that'd be great.
Thanks!
Hi Ravi
As far as my personal experience is concerned, the biggest advantage i would say is that I really felt lighter though I must confess, I did not weigh myself before or after the diet.I felt that the stomach, which always feels full, does not feel so any more. But, for myself, I would need to do it atleast twice to get an optimum benefit since I have actually put on more weight since I did it. I did lost weight (the clothes said it all!) but maybe in my enthusiasm to return to normal food with a vengeance, I have ended up gobbling down stuff. But the best part is that there are no side effects. More than me, a friend of mine is a better example since he did not gain any weight from the kilos he lost as a result of that diet. But I will do it again to gain benefits.
Hope that helps ur study.
And sure, will participate in the poll!
the banana diet did not work for me. No way. In fact am a couple of kilos heavier than bfore! talk about climbing the wrong tree!
